We are pleased to invite you to Tanzania Day, 2018, Scheduled to take place in Dallas, Texas on April 27th ~ 29th. The aim of this day is to showcase Tanzania, its beautiful culture, history, people and natural resources, and to provide visitors with information on alternative opportunities for business and leisure in Tanzania. The event will strengthen the bond between the local Tanzanian community, Texas residents, and the business community. We look forward to seeing you in Dallas, Texas.
Tanzania occupies a total land of 364,898 square miles in East Africa, south of Kenya and Uganda, and east of Burundi, Rwanda and Congo—with an estimated population of 50 million people (slightly less than twice that of Texas). English and Kiswahili are both official languages; ethnic composition include native Africans, Asians, Europeans and Arabs. These groups have diverse religious believes including 35% Islam, 30% Christians, and about 35% indigenous and other religions.
